Episode 19 – Sorry for blowing (out) the mics!

We’ve gone a little loosey goosey this episode, but we promise we’ll bring you some more well-planned segments again soon! But for now, we’ll tide you over with talk about Valentine’s Day, Daughters of Darkness, and more in-depth analysis of It’s Complicated. Play along with us as we try to guess TV theme songs, too!

Steven Jacobs being attacked by a pelican.

Magnum being attacked by a parrot.

Mamma Mia the musical on stage was awesome. The movie is crap, none of the actors in that movie can sign. And I LOVE ABBA.

YAY it is my year. The year of the tiger… GRRRRR

No picking on NPH he’s ace and yeah agree with Billy, he’s hot.

magnum PI was your schoolboy crush!

Moonlighting was awesome… as soon as it started playing I knew it. It was first aired in 1985 so you guys would have been pretty young.

Only one of them is still around? Yeah Mathew Fox, Scott Wolf is on “V” and Jennifer Love Hewitt in “Ghost Whisperer”

    I also can’t believe you didn’t get Beyond 2000.

Oh wow that episode seemed to fly.

Happy birthday Billy – and welcome to the dirty thirties!

I got the Beyond 200 theme song – not to sure why that one stuck in my head. I was hanging out for the Macgyver theme song – but alas it never came :(

    Thanks Andrew!

I was almost gonna play the Macgyver theme, but to be honest with you, when I listened to it, I couldn’t actually recognise or remember it, so I thought best to give it a miss. I was kinda tempted to put the Stargate theme in for a laugh (because neither Ingmanr nor I would know it) but wouldn’t want to be be accused of pandering to certain members of our audience… :P

Can’t believe you guys were so slow on the themes for Party of Five and Beyond 2000. I got them straightaway. Very odd, I don’t think I ever watched Beyond 2000 but can recognise the theme in a few heart beats.

Cos you asked, my top three TV themes are Family Ties (it’s like i started dreaming on the night we kissed), Friends (you’re always stuck in second gear) and Six Feet Under (oboes).

And don’t be underestimating Neve Campbell. She was recently in Burn Up with Bradley Whitford and Rupert Penry-Jones (oil moguls with British accents are so hot right now). Just about everyone on Party of Five went on to big things, except for the young one with the annoying voice.

And Amanda Keller’s break was WonderWorld, not Beyond 2000.

So now i’m waiting for episode 20!

Hehehe I’d forgotten Amanda Keller was on Wonder World. All I remember is the bloodhound. Woodrow?

I like Family Ties too, as well as Growing Pains and although it doesn’t have lyrics, L.A. Law has a snazzy tune.
