@tyroga – glad to have you back on board! Even though we’re rolling the episodes out a little more slowly these days… and just for the record, I wasn’t saying pork hock, I was saying ‘bo kho’ – it’s a Vietnamese stewed brisket dish.

@Andrew – I’ve never really gotten into artichokes. I’m sure it’s mostly because my parents would one ever prepare them by putting them in brothy soups, so I have the same reaction to them that I think a lot of people have towards cabbage. How do you like to prepare them?

Hi B4N – I know I am a bit behind the times – but here are my top 3 vegies (for eating purposes!)

3. Artichokes – my current obsession

2. Pumpkin (specifically the jap variety) – sublime when slow roasted or cooked in coconut milk

1. Sorry to gang up on you Ingmar – but the number one vegetable is clearly the eggplant! (mmmmm – baba ganoush)
